I moved to the Roanoke Valley in 1981 and immediately fell in love with its charm. My first experiences here were marked by getting lost repeatedly. The streets wind and zigzag to navigate the river and railyards, and I depended on a city map to find my way. During this time, I developed a deep appreciation for the diverse home styles, unique landscape features, and the variety of neighborhoods I explored. Over the years, my affection for Roanoke has only grown, and I am delighted to call this beautiful valley my home.
